Happy New Year!

A very belated Happy New Year to you all. We've been back in school for 2 whole weeks and we've already been very busy starting to think about our new topic Calon Lan. In our topic we will be finding out about:

• Wales
• Welsh saints days
• The importance of recycling and what life would be like if we didn't recycle 
• Renewable and non-renewable energy
• Out of town developments and their impact

On Friday 20th we will be visiting the Bryn Pica recycling centre to find out all about which things can be recycled, how recycling is done and what happens to things that aren't recycled. Some children went with Mrs Davies' class on Monday and they had a very enjoyable afternoon. We are all looking forward to Friday- don't forget to bring back your slip if you haven't already, and remember to wear old clothes, bring wellies or sensible shoes and a coat!!

I am also delighted that we won the attendance cup this week- well done Year 3 let's see if we can keep it next week as well!
