Terrific towers!

We had lots of fun this afternoon! Before play we went around the school looking for different materials for Science. We found lots of examples and worked out what some things are made from- here are some examples of our work.

After play we went into the hall and Mrs Griffiths challenged us to build the highest free standing tower we could using just newspaper and sellotape.

Making the towers stand up was really tricky. We decided that listening to each other was important and that when we are working in a group it is helpful if everyone is clear about which job they are doing!
